Carillon Sultans snatched the lead late in Game 4 as they went on to claim back to back MJBL Championship. The game was tied at one in the top of the sixth when Carson Janzen singled, scoring one run.
Cedric Lagasse who was named Play-Off MVP started on the bump for Carillon Sultans and turned in another spectacular performance. The pitcher surrendered five hits and one run over seven innings, striking out four and walking one. Colson Smith stepped on the mound first for Elmwood Giants. The pitcher gave up seven hits and two runs (one earned) over six and two-thirds innings, striking out seven and walking one.
